Dearest Friends and Family, ❤
This is
it!! My FIRST email!! Woo-hooo! My heart is bursting at the seams with
happiness, excitement, and joy! I am SO excited to be here and it has
exceeded all my expectations so far! The MTC (Missionary Training
Center) is SO wonderful and I feel very at home here. The Spirit of the
Lord is so strong and I am constantly feeling His love! Seriously; I am
loving every minute and every moment here and I don't want it to end.
Luckily I have 2 and a half more weeks here! :) The more I am here the
more I feel in my heart that THIS is where I belong. I know that God
wants and needs me here and it fills me with so much excitement and
enthusiasm I can hardly contain it!!

Arriving
here was a little scary and very exciting, but I was quickly caught up
in the love and kindness by everyone here! Everyone I passed said with
smiles and enthusiasm, "Welcome to the MTC!" in whatever language
they're learning. The support is overwhelming and beautiful! My first
companion, Sister Glancy, is so fantastic and I am the luckiest person
to have her as my companion!!
We get along so so well and seem to be the
same person! Haha. :) My district (a group of Elders and Sisters) is
the best and I am loving to get to know them! There are 6 Sisters in my
district and we're all going to Riverside, California English speaking!!
They are so sweet and I love them so much already.

The
classes/workshops have blown my mind and I walk away from each one more
and more grateful for God's goodness and His beautiful gospel! I find
myself smiling all the time without even trying because I feel that JOY
in Christ and can't wait to share that with the people in Riverside!
I've already witnessed miracles like running into friends and family,
touching hearts, and hearing stories of how God changes lives. It is
obvious this is the Lord's work!
There is so
much I want to say and not enough space or time to say it! Like the food
here is really good! ;) Haha! My days are filled with learning, loving,
practicing, reading, and feeling the Spirit. I am so so so blessed to
be here and my testimony of the Savior and His gospel has already grown
miles. I know that God lives and that He loves us! One scripture that
has impressed me this week is 3 Nephi 5:13: "Behold, I am a disciple of
Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I have been called of Him to declare His
word among His people, that they might have everlasting life." I want to
thank you all for being on my email list! It means a lot that you would
show that support and feel that support as I work. Thank you!! I love
you all! Please feel free to email me personally and I'll be happy to
respond either today or next Saturday!
