Elder Goss---W:71 Hm. Crazy week? Nah. (Jan 12, 2021)

As my detailed title implies, nothing crazy has happened this week. Our friends that we're teaching has been out of contact. HOWEVER, we have been setting a lot of appointments for this upcoming week, so there's that to anticipate.

Additionally, today was pretty fun. First, we went to another Elders' appartment, and I cut one of the Missionary's hair. Although I've done it once or twice before, this was an actual, honest to goodness, decent haircut (and NO, I DIDN'T buzz him). So that was cool. Afterwards, we took some other Elders who will be returning to their original missions out to drive by the beach, and to get some tacos. That was fun. They are great to hang out with.

Funny enough, now that I mention it, we didn't go shopping today! Ha ha. Well, we'll work it out.

Well, for a spiritual thought, I'd like to turn your attention to the scriptures. All scripture, no matter how obscure or uninteresting, has hidden value. In stories, in epistles, in poems, in prophecies, etc. Today, I want to challenge you to find the most boring chapter you can find, and study it. Find the hidden gem. It's there! And if you pray and study with the Spirit, he will teach you something new.

I love you all! Take care. ¡CuĂdense!
